Join us on June 15, July 20, August 17, and September 21-22 to take part in the fun!
Gates open at 3 PM, giving you plenty of time to settle in before practice kicks off at 5 PM. The adrenaline-pumping races start at 6:30 PM, featuring a thrilling 2 moto format.
During intermission, enjoy the excitement of Stacyc Races, which will be a single moto event. It’s a perfect break between the intense regular classes!
The gate fee is just $10 per person, with free entry for kids under 6 and seniors over 60. If you’re ready to race, the entry fee is $40 per class.
For beginners, we’ve got a special class just for you! If you’ve been racing for less than a year by June 15, 2024, you’re eligible to compete. Please note, 250cc bikes cannot compete in the 450 class, and 250cc 2 strokes will ride with the 250 classes.

The First Ever West Texas Radio Make*A*Special*Holiday Golf Tournament is Thursday September 12th at 8am at Hogan Park Golf Course. It's a 4-person scramble with partial proceeds to benefit West Texas Food Bank and Safe Place of the Permian Basin.

Pool Night with Desert Reef Outfitters
Get ready to dive into a night of underwater shenanigans, fellow certified mermaids and mermen! It's time to dust off your gear and get ready to make a splash. Doors open at 7 PM for you to gear up before we take the plunge at 7:30 PM sharp! The pool is all yours until 9:30 PM to swim around and explore. Not a gearhead? No worries! Give us a call or text in advance with your rental needs, and we'll hook you up for just $20 per diver for pool access. Need a tank? It's $25 per diver. And if you're in need of rental equipment on top of that, it's $35 per diver. Let's blow some bubbles and have some fun! If you're ready to join us on this epic underwater adventure, let us know in the comments or shoot us a message. Bike MS: Cactus & Crude Ride 2024
Enjoy a full two-day experience across the flat desert terrain of West Texas and pedal to the finish line at English Newsome Cellars. Along the way, take photos of cactus, a sunrise as far as you can see and your ice cream when you stop to rest in Klondike.

Oil Patch Kids Invitational Golf Tournament
Greetings, Fellow Golfers and Supporters of Oil Patch Kids,
We're thrilled to share that our casino night was a huge success! Your continued support has allowed us to make a significant impact on the lives of children in the Permian Basin for the past 30 years, and we cannot thank you enough for your generosity.
As we move into 2024, we're happy to report that the Permian Basin is returning to business as usual, and we're excited to do the same! We're confident this year will be fantastic, and we can't wait to see what it holds. Our board and advisory staff are delighted to announce that we'll be "teeing it up" again on July 19th and 20th at Hogan Park Golf Course!
Your contributions, whether individual or corporate, are vital to our efforts to support the children who need it most. We promise to do everything we can to make the event worthwhile for you in every way possible.
We'll be sharing all the rules and regulations for the event closer to the date, so stay tuned! Sword School's Heatmeister Tournament
The Sword School's in house Tournament. We are experimenting with a new judging and scoring system so we decided to make it an in-house tournament to test it.
Heatmeister Tournament Structure:
1. Each match will consist of a 60 Sec non-stop bout (imagine 90 secs of sparring)
2. Two Judges per fighter and a ring Marshal
3. Fighters will be awarded with positive/ negative points throughout the match
4. Negative points include: martial strikes received/ poor sportsmanship (revenge cuts, arguing, being an ass)
5. Positive points include: attacks well executed, display of knowledge of proper measure, footwork, and technique, and good sportsmanship.
6. Points will be accrued at the conclusion of pools until the top scoring four remain.
7. Finals will be conducted in the same fashion.
8. Judges will be tested and qualified to ensure they know what to look for.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS??
We want to place more emphasis on skill and knowledge with the weapon and feel the best way to demonstrate this is through continuous fighting, without the interruption of resetting. You will be awarded for being outstanding.
A continuous bout is likened to sparring, and will hopefully diminish fighter scoring anxiety and “lucky shot” factors.
Fighters will get to fight A LOT more. Less hurry up and wait and more fighting.
More fighting means more fun.
We will go more into what constitutes scoring points in a couple of weeks. As testing of this system continues, we will likely be making changes and discovering issues. For instance; this may not work well for knife, but we shall see. Once we get everything ironed out, we will make a video on the system.
Gear Requiments:
• Mask with back of head protection
• Padded gloves (rigid for long sword)
• Gambeson or padded jacket
• Elbow and forearm protection
• Gorget, standalone or built into gambeson/jacket
• Knee protection(recommended, not mandatory)
• Athletic cup for men (advised for women but not mandatory)
• Chest protector for women (recommended, not mandatory)
