Shakeout Ride: Race Prep

VGG is just around the corner and there no better way to finish your race prep than with a proper shakeout ride with the crew! Energy City Bikes will be hosting 2 shake out ride time slots at 2 & 4pm on Friday November 10th at a chill social pace!

2pm Friday shakeout ride will be the shorter 14 mile route and we’ll do the longer 24 mile course at 4pm. Both will give riders a good feel for the course and the longer shakeout ride is identical to the quarter grind course which is the start and finish for all the courses on the menu.

All the shakeout rides will start from the Recreation Hall area within the State Park and the demo bikes and packet pickup will also be there.

We will have some Lasagna in the oven for dinner for everyone who joins us on Friday. We look forward to seeing y’all there.

An email will be sent out to all participants who have signed up containing the Shakeout ride and race routes.

@energycitybikes will have a demo fleet of @iamspecialized_road Diverge STR carbon gravel bikes that deliver “compliance without compromise” 1 of each size 52, 54, 56 & 58. They will be first come first serve so come by early and take one out for a spin starting after 12pm. Don’t have a gravel bike? The same demo fleet will be available for a day rental on race day.
