With the school year starting back up, foster your kiddos’ love of reading with the Bush Family Home State Historic Site on Thursday, September 19th, from 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm as we host our monthly Third Thursday Reading program.

We have new times for the event to allow families more time after working hours to attend the event.

Midland ISD’s very own superintendent, Dr. Stephanie Howard, will read the featured book of the month, “Because of an Acorn” By Lola M. Schaefer and Adam Schaefer.

Children in attendance will receive a free copy of the featured book and will have great fun with a follow-up activity related to the theme of the book!
