BOOK ARTS WORKSHOP January 28, 2024 2-6 pm $50
Enjoy creating 2 types of books in this NEW 4 hour workshop, taught by Monica Mixer.
The first book is a cute little Mini Accordian Book. The techniques learned in the Mini Accordion lesson can be incorporated to create any size Accordion Book. So, you can make mini sized up to giant sized books with what Monica teaches. The second book is a Pamphlet Stitched Journal made up of 3 signatures with a wrap around closure. This is a great way for you to get started in bookbinding. The pamphlet stitch technique is used in many other bookbinding projects. We will use scrapbooking papers, ephemera, embroidery floss, beads and more. All supplies are included, but you’re welcome to bring your own supplies. All skill levels are welcome.
