2024 State of Oil & Gas is an annual event hosted by the Midland Chamber of Commerce. The goal of this event is to give those attending the information they need to successfully conduct business in regards to current trends in the oil and gas industry.
The West Texas Hunting Extravaganza is an annual event organized by the West Texas Safari Club International. It is a hunting-themed event that takes place on January 27, 2024 and is open to the general public.
The event features over 60 exhibitors representing hunting opportunities and destinations from around the world, and attendees can explore the exhibitor hall from 9AM to 3PM for a fee of $10 per person. Children under 12 years old and SCI members are admitted for free.
In addition to the exhibitor hall, there is also a private banquet event and auction, for which tables can be reserved. The doors for this event open at 5PM, and additional information about the event and table reservations can be obtained by direct messaging the organizers.

Permian Basin Comic Con X is an annual event that takes place in Midland, Texas. It is a gathering of fans of comic books, anime, and pop culture and is held at the Midland County Horseshoe Arena. The event takes place over three days, from March 17th to March 19th, 2023.

Annual Tee Off For Bynum occurs every March and proceeds gained support the Bynum School of Midland. This successful fundraiser event has raised over $300,000 for the school and around 500 golfers participate every year.
Midland Texas Polo Club Spring Season events are exciting and fast-paced horseback matches on their stunning 40-acre grounds and fields. They are open to the public and admission is completely free. Cheer on your favorite players as they face off on the field. Matches take place on Thursdays at 4:30 PM and on Sundays at 2 PM and 3 PM. Please note that all matches are subject to weather conditions. Note: The season lasts through June.
