The Bar
Weekend Brunch, Patio, Full Bar
The Bar was founded in 1979 and has been locally owned and operated over the last 30+ years. This bar has a very laid-back atmosphere and is a great local spot for meeting up for a drink or for weekend brunch. They have a beautiful porch and patio, which is also available for rent for special occasions.
At lunchtime, you’ll find a number of appetizers, fried food, burgers, sandwiches, and salad to choose from. This Downtown spot is also smoke-friendly on the patio and is kid-friendly until 9 PM.
Buffalo Jo's
Full Bar, Patio, Food Truck Off-Site
This place is great whether you're trying to catch a midday game or bring the family out for a quick, but delicious lunch. This spot also features a full bar for drinks at lunch or any other time of day.

In December of 2022, Pachuco’s opened its first brick-and-morter in the old Johnny’s Barbecue location, just off Big Spring St. in downtown Midland.
Their menu includes unique burgers, Korean-inspired dishes, bao, poutine, and the expansion into barbecue with the recent move into their new space. They provide cobblers and banana puddin’ cheesecake, sure to fix that sweet tooth.
They also provide pick up, drop off, and catering for that next meeting you have.
Opal's Table

For midday comfort food at a classy dining spot, look no further than Opal’s Table. Opal’s is located in the Midland Tower of Downtown Midland and is open for both lunch and dinner.
On the lunch menu, you will find a couple of different options that are not featured at dinner. For a lighter option, the soups and salads are not to be missed but we definitely understand choosing a larger dish such as the Nashville Chicken Sandwich.

As one of Downtown’s pizza options, Pi Social offers an eclectic menu of pizza, cauliflower crust, apps, and an extensive bar menu. Great for a break from the office and grab a slice or to go to dinner with friends and family.
They have a half indoor and outdoor full open bar serving locally crafted beers and specialty drinks.
Their menu has classic pies, specialty pies, amazing appetizers, sandwiches, and salads. The BBQ chicken pizza and the cauliflower wings are definitely a must-try next time you’re in.
Tall City Bistro

Tall City Bistro is a hidden gem located inside the West Texas State Bank off of Illinois and Big Spring. Once you step inside this lunch spot, you’ll find the tables filled with people escaping from work and enjoying the editable creations.
The menu has salads, tacos, sandwiches, burgers, and delicious pasta with a light creamy sauce. They also serve breakfast all day including a make-your-own burrito/omelet and many more. Breakfast is served all day with options for make-your-own burritos and omelets made to order for your choosing.
Wall Street Bar & Grill

Wall Street Bar & Grill is a great upscale restaurant located Downtown on East Wall Street. Wall Street Bar and Grill has long been known as an upscale dining option in Midland due to their reliable reputation and of course tasty food.
