Ally Village
We love Ally Village because they are bursting with local businesses and great spots to eat. There are at least six locally owned stores in the shopping center where you can get stocking stuffers, bigger items, or something in between for your loved ones.
What’s even better about this time of year at Ally Village is their annual Christmas tree lighting and Santa Claus visit (December 2nd from 4-7pm). It’s a great place to shop, eat, and enjoy the holiday spirit all in one place.

Centennial Park
Just opened, Centennial Park is a beautiful green space in the middle of Downtown Midland. The City of Midland will light the Christmas tree on November 30 and it will remain lit for the month. It is 50 feet tall with white, blue, and silver ornamentation.
What a great photo-op for your family holiday photos! With the many features of the park including cafe-style seating, a dog park, and fountains, this new addition to Midland will be an essential pit stop to grab a view of The Tall City skyline while breathing in some amazing Christmas vibes.
The annual Christmas parade is also returning to Midland again and in person. The lighted parade will begin at the Midland County Library at the Downtown Branch and end on Wall and Colorado St.

Museum of the Southwest
The Nativity scene has been live since before Halloween and the stoop is dressed with all of the Holiday fixings. While there are so many reasons to visit the Museum of the Southwest throughout the year, Christmas season should not be missed.
Finally, this year might feel a little bit normal when it comes to the traditional holiday shenanigans. With that, the holiday festivities are back at the Museum of the Southwest.

Midland Downtown Farmers Market has moved to a a new location in Midland and is now open every Saturday of the year. The market will be full of Christmas flare this winter!
